What’s more Kiwi than beach cricket & jandals, or stubbies & backyard BBQs?
Steak & cheese pies and driving your Uncle Trevs‘ green mk III Cortina?
Maybe the NZ IPA challenge at Smith’s Craft Beer House, Queenstown. Every year brewers from the whole country descend on it like seagulls on a chip packet, to find the best IPA made entirely from NZ’s finest hops, malts, gumboots, etc.
Sweet As Bro throws up a stone fruit and tropical shaka from Nectaron, Wai-iti and Kohatu hops, then powers some Rakau Hop Kief straight up the guts. Surfing on a wave of Pilsner & Vienna malt, dropping in some Wheat & Oats. Full, ripe peaches with Mango, Apricot & Mandarin. Soft bitterness rounded juicy body.
Food match: your Nana’s Bacon & Egg Pie. Sweet as, Bro!
