We met up at Cellarmaker in SoMa for some excellent hazy ales and to watch the Dodgers game. From there it was only a short walk to City Beer Store where we hit some sours and a couple of big IPAs. At some point we moved to Toronado and drank Pliny and ate tamales we bought for five bucks from the tamale lady.
The next day we woke up late and Nick wanted fried chicken so we headed down to Hard Knox in Dogpatch for fried chicken. I didn’t think I wanted a beer but actually I did, and got this American Pale Ale. I can’t remember the name of the brewery, but I do remember it was awesome.
That’s why this fine A.P.A you’re about to enjoy is named Dogpatch. Brewed with American Ale malt with a touch of oats and wheat, then smashed with an all-American hop line-up: Columbus, Ekuanot, Citra and Amarillo. Sure to bring back memories of your favourite Bay Area brews.
Hops: Columbus, Ekuanot, Citra, Amarillo
